The dummy's position in relation to the steering wheel and instrument panel after the crash test indicates that the driver's survival space was maintained wellSmeared greasepaint indicates where the dummy's head hit the B-pillar, roof rail, and head restraint during rebound. Head accelerations from these hits were low
Intrusion into the driver's space was minimal, and all leg and foot injury measures were low

ЛОБОВОЙ УДАР СО СМЕЩЕНИЕМ
The Toyota Prius was redesigned for the 2004 model year. Beginning with 2007 models, side airbags were made standard.
Two tests of a 2006 Prius were conducted, one with optional side airbags for the driver and rear passenger, and one without. These vehicles are rated separately, except that the structural ratings for both vehicles are based on both tests.

Restraints/dummy kinematics

Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy's head hit the B-pillar and roof rail.

Injury measures

Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity. Head accelerations from the B-pillar and roof rail hits were low.

Injury measures

Driver - Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.
Rear passenger - Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

Head protection

Driver - The dummy's head was protected from being hit by any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof.
Rear passenger - The dummy's head was protected from being hit by any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof.
