The dummy's position in relation to the steering wheel and instrument panel after the crash test indicates that the driver's survival space was maintained wellSmeared greasepaint indicates where the dummy's head hit the roof rail, grab handle, and B-pillar during rebound. Head accelerations from these hits were low
Intrusion into the driver's space was minimal, and all leg and foot injury measures were low

ЛОБОВОЙ УДАР СО СМЕЩЕНИЕМ
The Scion xB was introduced in the 2004 model year.

Restraints/dummy kinematics

Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy’s head hit the roof rail, grab handle, and B-pillar.

Injury measures

Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

БОКОВОЙ УДАР

Injury measures

Driver - Measures taken from the dummy indicate serious skull fracture and/or brain injuries plus serious neck injuries would be likely in a crash of this severity. A fracture of the pelvis would also be likely, and rib fractures and/or internal organ injuries would be possible.
Rear passenger - Measures taken from the dummy indicate a low risk of any significant injuries in a crash of this severity.

Head protection

Driver - The dummy's head was hit by the intruding barrier, producing high head injury measures.
Rear passenger - The dummy's head was hit mainly by the window glass of the rear passenger door. The head was also hit by the window frame and the pillar behind the door. These impacts did not produce high head injury measures, but the head protection is inadequate.
