    There was comparatively small deformation at the frontal portion of the vehicle and the collision energy was almost completely absorbed within the engine compartment. There was comparatively small deformation in the footwell area of both driver and passenger.
    The dummies remained securely restrained, and their posture was hardly changed after the collision, however, the seat fell foward due to deformation.
    Furthermore, upon impact the passenger seat door was pushed backward against the back seat door, and so, the door had to be opened with both hands.
