    Upon a collision, the so-called fuse belt actuated, and there was considerable forward movement of the pelvis of both the driver's and the front passenger's side dummy. After the test, the dummies exhibited a position, with the pelvis area moved forward up to the vicinity of the seat center area.
    The collision energy was almost completely absorbed within the engine compartment. In the occupant compartment, there was relatively small deformations in the footwell area around both the driver's and the front passenger's side.
