There was comparatively big dedformation at the frontal portion of the car, however, the collision energy was almost completely absorbed within the engine compartment. There was deformation
in the footwell area of both driver and passenger, however, the deformation on the driver's side was comparatively small. The dummies remained securely restrained upon impact and their posture was hardly changed after the collision. The seat buckles angled forward due to deformation. Furthermore, upon impact the passenger seat door was pushed back against the pillar, and so, the door had to be opened with both hands. |
