ЛОБОВОЙ УДАР СО СМЕЩЕНИЕМ
The Cadillac STS was introduced in the 2005 model year as a replacement for the Seville. Restraints/dummy kinematics Dummy movement was well controlled. During rebound, the dummy’s head hit the B-pillar, roof rail, and grab handle. Injury measures Measures taken from the neck, chest, and legs indicate low risk of injuries to these body regions in a crash of this severity. A high head acceleration occurred when the dummy's head hit the steering wheel through the airbag, indicating that head injuries would be possible. Head accelerations from the B-pillar, roof rail, and grab handle hit were low.
БОКОВОЙ УДАР
The Cadillac STS was introduced in the 2005 model year as a replacement for the Seville. Beginning with 2007 models built after August 2006, the B-pillars were reinforced and the front door trim panels and side torso airbags were changed to improve occupant protection in side-impact crashes (note: information about when a specific vehicle was manufactured is on the certification label typically affixed to the car on or near the driver door). The tested car was manufactured after the modifications had been made. Injury measures
Driver — Measures taken from the dummy indicate that a fracture of the pelvis would be likely in a crash of this severity. Rib fractures and/or internal organ injuries
would also be possible. Head protection
Driver — The dummy's head was protected from being hit by any hard structures, including the intruding barrier, by a side curtain airbag that deployed from the roof and a
side airbag that deployed from the seat. |
